About the Role
Hi, I'm Efe, founder of MarketPlays, a small investing app on iPhone and Android. I am looking for a current US college student to film one casual, selfie-style video to be used as a TikTok and Instagram ad. This is a potential long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Film one 30 to 45-second video shot on your phone (dorm, car, library, etc.).
- The video should be casual and authentic—not polished or a script read.
- Try the app first (it's free), then talk about it as if you were telling a friend.
- Provide 2 or 3 alternate openings (re-film the first few seconds) for A/B testing.
- Provide a screen recording of you using the app.
Requirements
- Eligibility: Must be 18+, currently enrolled in a US college, and a native English speaker with an American accent.
- Skills: Comfortable talking to the camera.
- Compliance: You must follow strict finance guidelines:
- No telling people what to buy.
- No talking about gains or returns.
- No showing real account balances.
- Process: I will provide talking points, but you should express them in your own way.
Compensation
- Pay: $150 flat via PayPal or Venmo, paid upon delivery.
- Bonus: Additional compensation available if you are open to us running the video from your TikTok account as a Spark Ad for 90 days (with a paid partnership label).
