Head of Data Partnerships - ZoomInfo Technologies LLC
Headquarters: Remote
Location: Waltham, MA | Vancouver, WA | Bethesda, MD | Remote (US) (Hybrid)
About the Role
ZoomInfo is where careers accelerate. We move fast, think boldly, and empower you to do the best work of your life. You’ll be surrounded by teammates who care deeply, challenge each other, and celebrate wins. With tools that amplify your impact and a culture that backs your ambition, you won’t just contribute. You’ll make things happen–fast.
ZoomInfo is seeking a Head of Data Partnerships to own how we grow our data advantage through external relationships. Our advantage is built on what we acquire as much as what we build—and this role owns the full range of ways we acquire: what we license, what we co-develop, what we trade for, what we sell alongside, and what we should own outright.
You will run a portfolio of hundreds of suppliers spanning company, contact, identity, and signal data across global markets. You will identify opportunities, structure them, and drive them to signature. Success here is not just deals signed; it is data availability delivered and value created: measurable improvements in coverage and quality, revenue from partnerships, and optimized cost per record.
What You'll Do (Essential Functions)
- Strategy: Own the multi-year data supply and partnership strategy. Maintain a live view of the global data market and bring a point of view, not just a vendor list.
- Build-Buy-Partner-Acquire: Decide when ZoomInfo should license a source, co-develop it, structure an exclusive, build internally, or pursue an acquisition.
- GTM Motions: Build and run co-sell and joint GTM motions with strategic partners in partnership with Sales, Product Marketing, and Alliances.
- Acquisitions: Source and shape acquisition opportunities; identify suppliers where owning the asset beats renting it and partner with Corporate Development through diligence.
- Portfolio Management: Own the supplier portfolio end-to-end, including sourcing, evaluation, onboarding, renewal, and rationalization.
- Rigorous Evaluation: Design tests to measure net-new lift and accuracy against our own corpus.
- Executive Representation: Build senior relationships that make ZoomInfo the first call for partners.
- Compliance: Move deals through Legal, Privacy, Security, and Procurement while ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and regional requirements.
- Post-Signature Ownership: Partner with product and data teams through ingestion, matching, and publishing; measure impact and retire underperforming partnerships.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in data partnerships, strategic partnerships, business development, or data acquisition.
- Proven track record negotiating and closing third-party data agreements, including non-standard constructs (revenue share, reciprocal exchange, co-development, exclusivity).
- Demonstrated strategic judgment in building supply or partnership strategies.
- Hands-on analytical ability to interrogate evaluation results and challenge methodologies.
- Deep understanding of B2B data domains (firmographics, contact, identity, intent, technographics) and how quality is measured.
- Working fluency with data privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA).
- Commercial ownership experience (managing spend envelopes or partnership P&L).
- Executive presence and the ability to drive outcomes across cross-functional teams without formal authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in business development, corporate strategy, or M&A.
- Experience running a co-sell or alliance motion with revenue accountability.
- Experience acquiring global data and navigating international compliance nuances.
- Familiarity with multi-source enrichment economics (waterfalls, per-match pricing) and the identity data ecosystem.
- Experience building a partnership or vendor management operating system.
Who Thrives Here
You think in multi-year positions, not just individual deals. You can balance the strategic case for a partnership with a hard-nosed read on data quality. You are comfortable telling a partner "no," challenging internal leadership on existing deals, and proposing innovative structures. You prefer running one partnership to measurable impact over managing twenty relationships that only produce meetings.
