Responsibilities
- Work with and report to the senior editor who oversees all Strategist beauty coverage
- Identify story ideas, conceive of the proper approach from The Strategist’s point of view, and pitch headlines
- Write and pitch both short and longer stories and reviews, aiming to engage and enlighten readers
- Closely follow beauty news and shopping trends, constantly testing new releases
- Actively monitor social media to stay on top of breaking news and trends
