About the Role
Mainmatter, the company behind EuroRust, is looking for an exceptional Rust engineering consultant to lead our team. You will be supporting international clients—such as Google, BMW, and Redis—in adopting Rust.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing client codebases.
- Recommending and implementing improvements.
- Driving codebase migrations to Rust.
- Training client teams on advanced Rust concepts.
Requirements
- Location: Must be located in the EU.
- Rust Expertise: Excellent Rust skills, including several years of experience using Rust in a production environment.
- Engineering Experience: Excellent engineering skills, ideally with 10+ years of professional experience.
- Communication: Excellent English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate has experience speaking at conferences, running workshops, writing technical articles, and similar community-focused activities.
