[HIRING] YouTube Longform Editor for Fragrance/Lifestyle Channel (Ongoing, Bi-Weekly)

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled individual editor (no agencies) to create bi-weekly 10-12 minute YouTube videos for a fragrance/men's lifestyle channel with 21K subscribers and growing.
CRITICAL: Style Match Required
You MUST match our existing YouTube style. Please watch these videos before applying:
Style Reference: Clean, data-driven, subtle motion graphics. Think MKBHD meets finance YouTube. Not flashy, but polished. Retention edits (zooms, cuts) that serve the content without being obnoxious. Research-backed content with on-screen text for statistics and citations.
Deliverables per Video:
- Full edit from raw footage + B-roll (~90 min raw → 8-10 min final)
- Light motion graphics (text on screen, simple data visualizations for research citations)
- Color correction
- Audio sync/cleanup
- Rough cut delivery within 48 hours of receiving footage
- Revision of the edit within 3 days after the first revision
- Final edit within 3 days after the first revision
Requirements
- Individual editor only. We need to work directly with the person editing our videos. Agencies or those planning to outsource will not be considered.
- Friday delivery deadline. Videos are posted on Sundays at 11 AM EST. Final delivery is Friday, end of day, with no exceptions. Disclose any commitments that would prevent this (surgery, travel, other clients) before applying.
- Consistent communication via Slack/Notion.
- Rough cut delivery within 24 hrs of receiving footage

- Raw footage uploaded to Google Drive within 24 hours of filming
- Complete scripts with timestamps in Notion
- B-roll and reference materials
- Style guide with typography specs
- Clear feedback in revision rounds
Schedule
- 2 videos/month (bi-weekly posting)
- Batch filming every two weeks with consistent footage delivery
- Predictable workflow, same expectations every time
Compensation
- USD $75-150/video for solid mid-tier talent.
- $200+ for premium talent.
