Campus Representative (Master’s & PhD Students)

The Mercor Campus Representative Program is designed to build Mercor’s presence at top universities while driving recruiting for our SPL/Engineering roles and expanding our expert network. As a Campus Representative, you’ll serve as the connector between Mercor and your university community, organizing events, driving referrals, and fostering relationships with talented students and experts.
This program is exclusively open to current Master’s and PhD students at top universities.
It’s a strong fit for graduate students who are highly connected on campus, excited about AI and the future of work, and eager to develop leadership and event management skills while working closely with the Mercor team.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting & Referrals: Promote Mercor SPL/Engineering roles and expert acquisition within your network using a personal referral code.
- Campus Events: Host an on-campus event this semester (workshops, panels, or info sessions) with Mercor team members or founders who may co-host or speak.
- Community Engagement: Identify and engage with high-reach communities (clubs, organizations, Discords, forums) on your university campus.
- Collaboration with Mercor: Join biweekly check-ins with the Mercor Growth team to track referrals and performance.
Who We’re Looking For
- Current Master’s or PhD student at a top university.
- Actively involved in campus communities, organizations, or clubs.
- Strong communicator and networker who can authentically represent Mercor.
- Self-starter with initiative and creativity in event planning and outreach.
Incentives & Benefits
Performance-Based Rewards
Earn commission-based bonuses with higher payouts than standard referrals:
- 10 referrals → +$100
- 50 referrals → +$200
- 100 referrals → +$500
- 1,000 referrals → +$5,000
Tiered Referral Bonuses
Additional % multipliers as you hit milestones:
- 1 successful referral → normal referral bonus
- 3 successful referrals → normal bonuses + 10% on next 7 referrals
- 10 successful referrals → normal bonuses + 15% on next 10 referrals
- 20 successful referrals → normal bonuses + 17% on next 30 referrals
- 50 successful referrals → normal bonuses + 20% on all future referrals
Event Incentives
- $10 per unique attendee you bring to a Mercor event (attendee must not have attended a prior event).
