About the Role
We are looking for a social media manager or content-focused growth specialist to build the online presence of two rap/hip hop artists with existing traction.
This is not a build-from-zero project. The music and content are already there. The missing piece is the right person to help turn that into a stronger and more consistent online presence.
We are especially looking for someone ambitious who understands TikTok and Instagram growth, genuinely loves music, and knows how to help very talented but naturally humble artists show up online more fully. Part of this role is helping push the artists a little outside their comfort zone in the right ways, bringing ideas, structure, encouragement, and consistency without making anything feel fake, forced, or corny.
Responsibilities
We need help with:
- TikTok and Instagram content strategy
- Short-form content planning and rollout ideas
- Posting consistency and account management
- Artist branding and positioning
- Helping turn unreleased music, snippets, visuals, and personality into momentum
- Identifying growth opportunities while keeping the artist authentic
Requirements
The ideal candidate:
- Understands rap/hip hop culture and aesthetics
- Has strong instincts for TikTok and IG growth
- Loves music and understands artist development
- Is proactive, organized, creative, and actually follows through
- Can confidently guide artists who are very talented but not naturally self-promotional
Compensation
- Budget: $100/week per artist to start, so $200/week total for both artists.
- Open to adjusting scope over time based on fit, consistency, and results.
- Paid in cash, not equity.
