Job Title: Cold Caller for UK Local Businesses
Source: reddit-r-forhire
About the Role
I am a UK-based freelance web developer selling simple £500 websites to small local businesses (trades, garages, kennels, etc.). I am looking for experienced cold callers to work a provided list and book meetings. You handle the booking; I run the meetings and handle the closing.
What is Provided
You carry zero costs. Everything you need is supplied:
- Browser dialer: Nothing to install; works from any laptop + headset with UK caller IDs. Calls are at no cost to you.
- Screened lead lists: Live businesses with recent Google reviews, checked against the UK do-not-call register (TPS). Each call card includes the business's Google profile and website.
- Resources: Script, objection sheet, and access to your call recordings for review and improvement.
The Pitch
You are selling a simple, clear offer: "Your website doesn't work on phones / you don't have one. £500, done in days." Your goal is a 2-minute conversation that results in a booked Google Meet slot.
Compensation
- £15 per qualified meeting: The prospect must show up and be genuinely interested.
- £250 per closed sale: Earned when a meeting results in a £500 website sale.
- Payment terms: No base salary/hourly pay. Paid via Wise, PayPal, or Revolut.
- Volume: The list supports 60 to 100 dials per day.
Requirements
- Fluent English: You must sound local to UK businesses.
- Experience: Proven cold-calling experience (B2B preferred).
- Availability: Must be available during UK business hours (roughly 09:30 to 17:00 UK time).
- Environment: A quiet space and decent internet connection.
How to Apply
To apply, please comment or DM with the following:
- Voice Note: A 30 to 60-second recording introducing yourself as if you were calling a busy garage owner.
- Background: One line detailing your cold-calling experience (what you sold, volumes, and results).
Note: Shortlisted callers will start with a trial afternoon on the live dialer, with the same pay structure applied from the very first call.
