[HIRING] Part-Time Social Media Manager – Remote (Flexible Hours)

PeerMetals is a peer-to-peer marketplace + social hub for precious metals and numismatic coins. Think community meets marketplace—built for stackers, collectors, and small dealers.
The Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who can grow our audience and turn attention into sign-ups and sales. You’ll own strategy → content → performance across YouTube Shorts, Instagram, Facebook, and more.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute growth strategies that convert followers into active users/customers
- Plan content calendars; research trends; develop/write scripts; coordinate basic edits/assets
- Post and schedule content; manage comments/DMs; spark community engagement
- Run simple experiments (hooks, thumbnails, captions, timing) and report learnings
- Track performance with platform analytics (and basic GA4/etc.) and recommend next steps
- Collaborate on influencer shoutouts, promos, and announcements
Requirements
- Proven experience growing social accounts and driving conversions (share examples)
- Strong English communication (speaking + writing)
- Comfortable completing tasks laid out above
- Self-directed, organized, and data-aware (you test, measure, iterate)
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with niche communities (finance, collectibles, coins, precious metals)
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (Meta Planner, Buffer, Later, etc.)
- Basic editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)

- Type: Part-time, contractor, remote
- Hours: Flexible (we use content scheduling)
- Compensation: $5–$15/hr depending on experience
