What you will do
- Residency: Must reside in California with extensive experience of the California market.
- Account Management: Responsible for account and revenue retention and all aspects of dealer relationship management (customer success) within the territory.
- Operations: Responsible for launch planning, overseeing product implementation, and providing direction and guidance to Dealer Relations Managers/Specialists regarding training and continuous improvement.
- Revenue Growth: Identify and capitalize on revenue generation (upsell) opportunities and support company growth targets by generating new business referrals.
- KPI Management: Manage and report all identified KPIs including retention, revenue, and operational metrics.
- Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8-10 FTEs.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary contact for dealer management teams, manage overall client relationships, handle escalated issues, and conduct quarterly performance reviews.
- Product Expertise: Maintain a thorough understanding of product functionality, services, and processes to communicate their value to clients.
- Strategic Partnership: Partner with the Business Development team to achieve long-term company goals, network to generate leads, and lead presentations for potential clients and industry groups.
- Team Development: Ensure employee engagement, cultivate direct reports, and deliver training as part of the onboarding and growth development process.
- Networking: Build and maintain regional OEM/Dealer group relationships.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
- 8 or more years of professional experience working in sales, marketing, or customer service in a luxury automotive retail environment.
- Prior management experience leading and managing field teams.
- Significant experience working with CRM tools.
- Ability to think fast, work fast, and drive change.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to negotiate effectively, finding win-win solutions in a non-confrontational way.
- Proactive, passionate, and enthusiastic with a "can-do" attitude.
- Vested interest in the company’s success.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $150K to $165K. Final base salary will be based on the individual’s geographical location, experience, and qualifications.
- Incentives: In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
- Benefits: This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
