As an IaC / DevOps Professional, you will:
Act in the automation, provisioning, and management of Azure cloud infrastructure using modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, ensuring standardized, secure, and scalable environments to support the life cycle of development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provisioning of Azure Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure resources in Azure (VNets, AKS, App Services, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Azure SQL, ACR, among others) in an automated and traceable way via code.
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Terragrunt: Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for provisioning Azure resources. Use Terragrunt to orchestrate multiple environments (dev, staging, prod), manage dependencies between modules, and ensure DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) in the IaC structure.
- Creation and Management of CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML Pipelines) and/or GitHub Actions, covering builds, tests, infrastructure provisioning (IaC pipeline), and application deployment.
- State Management and IaC Best Practices: Configure and manage Terraform's remote state (Azure Storage Account + Blob Container), implement state locking, module versioning, and separation by workspaces/environments.
- Security and Governance: Apply security practices in infrastructure: use of Azure Key Vault for secret management, definition of IAM policies (RBAC), Azure Policy, and ensuring compliance in the provisioned resources.
- Monitoring and Observability: Configure monitoring resources via code (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics Workspace, Application Insights), ensuring visibility over infrastructure and application health.
- Documentation and Standardization: Maintain updated technical documentation, resource naming standards, tagging strategy, and IaC module usage guides for development teams.
