About the Role
We are a video production company based in the USA (Tampa, Florida) and are looking to expand our team of editors in Serbia. You will work directly with our lead editor, Dragan, with whom I have been collaborating for over 6 years.
We are looking for editors who are proficient in DaVinci Resolve and want to work in a modern, remote environment using a proxy workflow and Resolve Cloud. We shoot most of our material on the Sony FX6, and the entire system is optimized for fast and efficient remote collaboration.
We work on a wide range of projects, including real estate videos, product commercials, and event content. This is a long-term and stable collaboration – we do not work on one-off freelance projects.
Requirements
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve
- Organized work ethic
- Experience with proxy and cloud workflows
- Fluent in Serbian (team communication)
- Solid English for understanding instructions
- Reliability and team spirit
It is not necessary to be a top-notch colorist – efficiency, consistency, and clean editing are more important.
Compensation and Advancement
We have a clear system for advancement depending on experience and level (based on ~40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime):
- 🟢 Junior Editor: $1,000–$1,200 monthly - Basic editing, proxy workflow
- 🔵 Mid Editor: $1,200–$1,500 monthly - Faster work, greater reliability, less supervision
- 🟣 Senior Editor: $1,500–$1,800 monthly - Works on complete projects, solves problems, and helps juniors
There is room for advancement as the team grows.
