About the Role
Above and Beyond Talent is seeking a Salesforce Data Engineer to support and manage the end-to-end Salesforce data lifecycle within a modern data platform. This role focuses on Salesforce data ingestion (Airbyte), orchestration (Prefect), transformation (dbt), and ongoing BAU support to ensure reliable, well-modeled, and governed data for analytics and downstream systems. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with pipeline troubleshooting, data modeling, and stakeholder collaboration in a remote environment.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering roles.
- Experience working with Salesforce core objects, APIs, and SOQL.
- Hands-on experience with Airbyte (or similar ingestion tools) for Salesforce data syncs.
- Experience building and maintaining workflows in Prefect (or similar orchestration tools).
- Experience developing and optimizing dbt models (staging, intermediate, marts).
- Strong SQL skills (Snowflake or Postgres preferred).
- Experience troubleshooting data pipelines and resolving production issues.
- Understanding of data governance, PII handling, and access controls.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder requests and intake processes.
Compensation
- Pay rate: $50-$52 an hour
