About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team in Oxfordshire as a Cable Jointer (11kV to 33kV). You will be responsible for the quality and compliance of workmanship, ensuring adherence to authorisation procedures and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Cable Jointer in compliance with Authorisation Procedures and the Electricity Supply Industry.
- Responsible for Electrical Safety Management for any project you have made safe for others to work upon.
- Operate within Private and Public Project Network Businesses, building strong relationships with peers and customers.
- Drive positive change across the business and ensure quality and compliance standards are met by yourself and others on the project.
- Perform cable jointing and associated works to the highest safety standards.
- Ensure site safety and compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent project delivery and continuous improvement.
- Manage programmed works to the highest Electrical Safety Management and Environmental standards.
- Deliver works at the expected level of quality, performance, safety, and cost, while resolving site issues through to project completion.
About You
- Technical Status: Qualified Electrical Engineer with an LV/HV Jointer Qualification or equivalent.
- Technical Knowledge: Detailed understanding of current HV & LV electrical jointing techniques from 11kV to 33kV.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid, up-to-date knowledge of statutory requirements, legislation, and technical advances.
- Safety: Good knowledge of Health and Safety practice and Risk Assessment processes.
- Experience: Proven experience working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Requirements: Must hold a CTC Clearance and a UK Driving Licence.
