About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be the interface between software development and IT infrastructure.
You will:
- Design and conceptualize the connection of various tools from the code base to the roll-out of our software products.
- Play a key role in the automation and optimization of processes and workflows, especially when it comes to Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery/Continuous Deployment.
- Support your team in integrating applications and advise on the implementation of automated test processes and the development of IT infrastructures.
- This position can be performed 100% from the home office. You don't have to live in Thuringia or the surrounding area. Decide for yourself when and where you want to work.
- Part-time employment is also not a problem for us, but it would be ideal if you could spend at least 30 hours a week on us.
Requirements
- You have a degree in a technical field, a corresponding vocational training or initial sound professional experience in the IT environment and have at least 3 years of professional experience in software development or IT administration.
- Your passion is modern DevOps technologies and frameworks such as Docker, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitLab, Atlassian products, Microservices etc. and you also master a programming language (e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript, Dart).
- When you approach tricky work tasks, you immediately think of automated or script-based solutions.
- It would be cool if you also have initial practical experience in agile software development.
- In order to really get a foothold with us, it is absolutely necessary that you have a good command of German, at least at C1 level.
