About Fractile
Fractile was founded in 2022 on the bet that, eventually, the world’s most capable AI systems would be limited in their impact by the amount of time they take to produce useful outputs. We bet everything on the logical conclusion: that the only way to truly unlock this latent value, to make speed viable at scale, was to radically re-invent the hardware that we run our frontier AI models on.
Ever since, we have been building chips and systems that tackle this problem: how to generate output at thousands of tokens per second, while handling the complexity and capacity challenges of operating large models at very long contexts. The Role
As a Software Engineer, you will be a core part of our technical team working alongside the hardware, software, and research teams to solve cutting-edge problems in AI hardware, ranging from verification to simulation, alongside the best of the best (DeepMind, Apple, Meta…).
About You
- Exceptional Ability: We look for pivotal IC contributions that solved the hardest problems in big tech companies or hedge funds; competitive hackathons, International Olympiad medals, or high rankings in competitions like Advent of Code.
- Top-tier Engineering: We are not looking for specific languages or technologies—you will be a master of several. You excel at algorithmic skills and solving problems logically in any programming language, and you are very comfortable learning new skills on the fly. You like to work in Python and C++.
- Experience: It’s likely you have several years of professional experience, but we will make exceptions for the right candidate.
- Ambition: You want to work with the best and are excited to work in chips, solving the hardest problems at the frontier of AI.
