Customer Engagement Lead - Consultant Role - Remote

Above and Beyond Talent is seeking a Customer Engagement Strategy Consultant with experience in communications, marketing, and customer experience strategy to design and lead enterprise-wide engagement initiatives that drive loyalty, retention, and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred in Business, Strategy, Communications, or related field
  • 7–10 years of experience in communications, marketing, customer engagement, experience strategy, or enterprise communications
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (formerly Pardot)
  • Proven ability to craft customer-centric messaging and improve communication processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives with measurable business impact
  • Experience building enterprise capabilities and leading cross-functional transformation

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a multi-year customer engagement strategy aligned to business growth, transformation, and customer journey priorities.
  • Translate customer insights into engagement frameworks that drive loyalty, retention, and revenue.
  • Partner cross-functionally to embed customer-centric engagement into business planning and execution.
  • Develop and oversee customer communications across key journey moments, including launches, policy updates, pricing, and strategic initiatives.
  • Shift messaging from transactional to strategic, ensuring relevance, consistency, and alignment with brand voice.
  • Apply journey mapping, service design, and automation to deliver scalable, personalized experiences.
  • Own engagement KPIs (retention, NPS, revenue impact, and engagement metrics) and drive continuous improvement through analytics and testing.
  • Lead change communication strategies, stakeholder alignment, and internal readiness for enterprise initiatives.
  • Train and mentor teams on customer-centric communication, brand voice, and engagement best practices.
  • Establish governance models, approval processes, and enterprise engagement capabilities to scale and optimize customer engagement.

Compensation

  • Payrate: $70.00 to $75.00
