About the Role
G-Research is a leading quant finance company with a large compute farm and complex technical challenges. We are hiring Senior Engineers to work on our world-class DAG scheduling infrastructure, which distributes research and production workloads across our compute farm.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the SDKs for our scheduler in Python, F#, and C#.
- Develop and implement new features for the scheduler.
- Maintain and improve the web backend and UI used by quants and engineers to monitor jobs, with an increasing focus on high availability.
- Act as a bridge between low-level infrastructure providers and quant/ML researchers.
Requirements
- Functional programming experience is preferred, as our core product is built in F#.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with highly skilled researchers and engineers.
- Experience or interest in solving the unique challenges associated with running large-scale ML workloads.
