Essential Duties
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am–5pm Mountain Standard Time
- Communicate with customers, quote rates, and provide up to date information regarding loads
- Coordinate loading and unloading arrangements with drivers and customers
- Input orders efficiently and accurately – attention to detail is crucial
- Negotiate freight rates and terms with carriers
- Vet new carrier partners; review FMCSA ratings, confirm insurance
- Monitor driver progress from pick up to delivery
- Dispatch freight daily by phone and operating systems
- Willing to work weekends as needed (currently this is very rare)
