Porkbun is looking for a Content Creator & Video Producer to help our brand become the one people stop scrolling for. We are a fully remote domain name registrar looking for a creative individual who understands the mechanics of viral content, storytelling, and how to make domain names unexpectedly entertaining.
What You'll Do
You will own video content on organic channels from concept to publication. Your responsibilities include:
- End-to-end production: Brainstorming, scriptwriting, filming (cameras, phones, mics, screen recordings), casting, editing, and designing thumbnails/titles.
- Content repurposing: Turning single concepts into YouTube Shorts, TikToks, Reels, LinkedIn posts, newsletter content, product-education videos, and campaign assets.
- Strategy: Publishing and analyzing performance data to optimize future content.
- Collaboration: Working with the marketing team to support partner campaigns and influencer collaborations.
- Innovation: Experimenting with AI tools for ideation, editing, animation, and production to improve efficiency.
- Growth: As this is a brand-new role, you will have the opportunity to shape our content strategy and eventually lead/hire a team.
Important Skills and Experience
- A portfolio that demonstrates your work and potential.
- Strong instincts for brand storytelling and engaging content.
- Comfort with the full production pipeline: ideation, filming, editing, publishing, and analysis.
- Fluency in both short-form social content and longer educational/infotainment formats.
- A mindset that embraces AI as a tool to become more versatile.
Bonus points for experience with: Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Descript, Canva, motion graphics/animation, photography, podcast production, YouTube SEO, creator partnerships, marketing tech/SaaS, and AI tools (Runway, Veo, ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, ElevenLabs).
