About the Role
We're a construction payment management SaaS based in Ireland. Main contractors and subcontractors use us to track subcontracts, payment applications, and retentions — replacing the spreadsheets they currently rely on. We're a small team of 5 (3 in engineering), with customers in Ireland and the UK.
We're hiring our 3rd engineer. You'd own features end-to-end alongside our two existing engineers. This is an async-first, fully remote role with real product ownership.
Requirements
- 5+ years shipping Rails in production
- Daily Claude Code or Codex user with a real workflow, your own skills/hooks/commands, opinions on when to override the agent, habit of reviewing AI output as critically as a junior PR
- Strong written English, calm under customer-facing pressure
