[HIRING] Remote Actors for Interactive Horror Game (Self-Recorded Video Clips)

About the Role
We are looking to hire several actors for a remote-filmed interactive horror game project. The format is similar to interactive chat-style horror games such as The Sign by Reality Games, where the story unfolds through short recorded clips that simulate real online conversations, webcam recordings, and livestream moments. Player choices influence how the narrative progresses.
The project centers around a group of friends playing an online horror game together when strange things begin happening and the situation starts bleeding into the real world.
The tone is digital / webcam-style horror, similar in feeling to films like Stay Alive, where the audience experiences the story through character recordings and reactions.
To avoid spoilers, we won’t go too deeply into the plot publicly, but the story plays out through short clips from different characters’ perspectives.
Recording Requirements
All roles are remote and self-recorded from home.
Actors must be able to record:
- Phone or webcam video
- Head-to-toe shots
- Distance shots (camera placed several feet away)
- Close reaction shots
No professional equipment is required. A modern smartphone with decent lighting works perfectly.
Scenes will be recorded as multiple short clips, not one continuous performance.
Total footage per actor will be roughly 3–5 minutes total, split across different clips.
Estimated recording time is about 1–2 hours.
Roles Currently Casting
- Female (19–30) – dark hair – tattooed / emo / alt vibe
- Female (19–30) – blonde – Caucasian
- Male (19–30) – Caucasian – dark long hair
- Male (19–30) – muscular build – any race
- Male (39–50) – any race
Actors must be native English speakers (English as a first language).
Content Notice
This is a horror project.
Some scenes may involve:
- Fear reactions
- Suspense scenarios
- Acting out on-camera death scenes
Actors must be comfortable performing in horror situations.
Payment
Flat rate: $40 USD via PayPal or Cash App
- $20 paid before filming
- $20 paid after footage is delivered
Availability
Actors who are available to film immediately after reviewing the script are preferred.
No acting experience required — we just ask that applicants take the role seriously and follow recording instructions.
