About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented YouTube Video Editor & SEO Specialist to join our team. This role combines high-quality video editing with YouTube SEO expertise to maximize engagement, grow subscribers, and improve search rankings. You will work directly on option trading educational and engagement videos, ensuring they are polished, optimized, and strategically positioned for audience growth.

Compensation: $7 – $9 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing

• Edit raw footage into professional, engaging YouTube videos (intros, transitions, animations, B-roll, text overlays, charts, and branded elements).
• Create visually appealing thumbnails that drive clicks.
• Add branded elements (logos, watermarks, intro/outro, lower thirds).
• Sync and edit audio for clarity and quality.
• Incorporate trading charts, diagrams, and on-screen highlights where required.
• Ensure all videos are optimized for different devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).

YouTube SEO & Channel Optimization

• Conduct keyword research for each video using tools like TubeBuddy, VidIQ, or Google Keyword Planner.
• Write compelling, SEO-friendly titles, descriptions, and tags.
• Optimize metadata (cards, end screens, playlists, hashtags).
• Add closed captions/transcripts for accessibility and SEO.
• Develop a tagging strategy to maximize discoverability.
• Monitor video performance analytics and suggest improvements.

Content Strategy Support

• Collaborate on content planning and suggest trending option trading topics.
• Research competitor channels and identify content opportunities.
• Recommend video structures/styles that maximize retention and watch time.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a YouTube Video Editor (portfolio required).
• Experience with YouTube SEO, keyword research, and analytics.
• Knowledge of YouTube algorithms, audience retention strategies, and CTR optimization.
• Familiarity with option trading/finance niche (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Graphic design skills (Photoshop/Canva for thumbnails).
• Experience with long-form and short-form (YouTube Shorts/Reels) editing.
• Understanding of finance/stock market terminology.
