About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you dislike repetitive work and are driven to automate these processes. You'll use Configuration Management tools like Puppet, Ansible, and/or other tools. You're not afraid to use your own code when needed. You'll work in a DevOps team and take on responsibilities that match your knowledge and experience.
In your role as a DevOps Consultant, you'll deal with different requirements and wishes, depending on the client and existing infrastructure. You'll focus on optimally automating processes and creating a pleasant working environment for end-users.
What We Offer
As an Esprit IT consultant, you'll work on assignments that match your ambitions. Assignments typically last 8 months to 1 year, but this depends on your preferences. You'll usually work within Enterprise environments, such as (government) authorities, water boards, banks, and other large companies or institutions in various industries.
We work in consultation on each project, with your wishes and ambitions as the guiding principle. You'll have regular contact with your operational manager to discuss your current or future assignments, as well as your wishes regarding training and/or certifications.
Even though you'll work on location, we ensure you maintain a connection with Esprit ICT. We facilitate finding assignments that you find fun and challenging and invest in your future.
Continuous Learning
Knowledge is crucial for you as a DevOps Consultant. You'll keep your skills and expertise up-to-date through our knowledge sessions, workshops, and by obtaining relevant certifications. You can also play an active role in one of our knowledge teams. As a DevOps Consultant, you'll be the specialist in your field!

Experience you bring:
As a DevOps Consultant, you're able to identify the needs of clients and translate them into an automated solution. We require at least an MBO4 diploma, knowledge of APIs and "version control" (Git). You also have extensive knowledge of Scripting and are familiar with Infrastructure as Code. Knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (DevOps Pipelines) is a plus, as is knowledge of Cloud. A Security Mindset is very important, and you find it important to be part of a company.
