About the Role

We are hiring Statistics PhDs for a remote, part-time project with a leading AI lab. The role involves creating high-quality, domain-specific problems to help train large language models.

Responsibilities

• Design and author difficult, domain-specific problems and data to inform state-of-the-art LLM research.
• Provide high-quality written content with attention to detail.

Requirements

• Hold a Statistics PhD from a top US / UK / Canadian / European university.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong English proficiency.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Commitment & Logistics

• Start: Ongoing from August, rolling applications.
• Time: ~15–20 hrs/week typical, with potential to extend up to 40 hrs/week.
• Duration: Scoped for a minimum of 1–2 months (project may continue).
• Work style: Fully remote and asynchronous — flexible hours.

Pay & Classification

• Rate: $60.00–$80.00/hr.
• Payment: Weekly via Stripe Connect.
