Jam.dev is a dev tools company with 200,000+ users in 2 years. They have received $10M in funding from Vercel CEO, GitHub CTO, Cloudflare CEO, etc.
They are building a flight recorder for web apps, allowing users to report issues to engineers in a debuggable way (with console, network, websockets debugger, etc.).
They have a small, senior team with several ex-engineering directors turned ICs (mostly ex-early Cloudflare). They are looking for staff-level engineers with experience building highly performant front-end apps.
Stack: React/Typescript and MobX (MST) on the frontend, and Node/GraphQL across the backend.
The Challenge
Scaling. Usage increased 10x last year, and their users are in 176 countries, on all sorts of devices, network conditions, etc. Their bar for quality is high.
