We are leaning heavily into the AI development process and are looking for candidates who are eager to build the next-generation SDLC that involves agentic tooling.
Note: We only have two levels at Akkio: Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. There are no principal, staff, or other titles.
Open Positions
Senior Software Engineer
- Compensation: $160k–$240k + equity
- Focus: Experienced web, backend, and full-stack candidates who have run projects, guided architecture, and built large applications.
- Requirements: Interest in at least two of the following: statistics, code generation, LLM usage, traditional AI/ML, large data processing/data science, or distributed systems development.

Senior Forward-Deployed Engineer (FDE)
- Compensation: $160k–$240k + equity
- Focus: A true full-stack developer capable of triaging issues and building small features across the full stack. This role involves interfacing with customers and responding to customer production issues.
