- Write concise, objective recommendations (links, specs, pros/cons, who it’s for)
- Compare across price tiers; create “good / better / best” bundles
- Flag compatibility issues (e.g., console + TV 4K120, laptop + dock + monitor, codec support, lens mounts)
- Build structured comparisons & short buyer’s guides (student laptop, travel camera, creator monitor, small-room soundbar, budget gaming peripherals)
- Refine AI-suggested picks, fix errors, and add missing context
- Source only from reputable/authorized retailers
Requirements
Who we’re looking for:
- Hands-on retail/category/product background (e.g., Best Buy, Micro Center, B&H, Adorama, Crutchfield, Sweetwater, GameStop) OR manufacturer specialist/editorial/reviewer experience
- Serious enthusiast track records also welcome
- Ability to translate specs into buyer decisions (OLED vs. Mini-LED, HDMI 2.1, LDAC/aptX, NVMe vs. SATA, IPS vs. VA, etc.)
- Comfortable cross-shopping across retailers and tiers
- Strong judgment on safety & compliance (batteries, chargers, warranties, accessories)
Compensation
- Rate: $40–$80/hr (USD) depending on expertise/depth
- Paid weekly via Stripe (independent contractor role)
Opportunity
- Remote & asynchronous — set your own hours
- Short-term, project-based (potential for ongoing)
