Technical Consultant – AI / Cloud / Data Center Infrastructure
Location: Fully Remote
Engagement: Freelance / Contract (Part-time)
Rate: $50–$100 USD/hour (depending on experience)
About the Role
I am looking to hire an individual freelance technical consultant/advisor with current or previous consulting experience in cloud, AI infrastructure, GPU computing, data centers, networking, or related infrastructure fields.
You do not need expertise in every area. I am primarily looking for someone with a strong technical foundation who can quickly research and adapt to adjacent infrastructure topics.
Relevant Experience
Relevant experience may include:
- AI / GPU infrastructure
- AWS, Azure, GCP, CoreWeave, or similar platforms
- Kubernetes / cloud-native infrastructure
- Data centers, power, cooling
- Networking, storage, HPC
- AI training / inference infrastructure
- Infrastructure economics, procurement, or vendor evaluation
Requirements
- Previous consulting, advisory, solutions architecture, or client-facing technical experience
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Strong professional written and spoken English
- Comfortable communicating technical topics clearly with clients
- Ability to learn unfamiliar technical markets quickly
