About the Role
Puls Security is a mid-sized company based in Germany. We build secure distributed systems from the ground up. We are currently looking for a Lead Software Engineer, but we are also open to hiring strong juniors if the mindset is right.
We are not looking for a pure coder; we are looking for someone who enjoys looking at problems architecturally.
What We Do
- Building services in Go (and Rust down the road) in an R&D-oriented team.
- Designing and implementing distributed systems in a security context.
Requirements
- Technical Depth: Deep expertise in a technically demanding area. Classic fits include distributed systems, cryptography, or networking. We also welcome experience in compilers, OS internals, formal verification, database internals, or any other field where you have real depth.
- Engineering Skills: Solid engineering skills in Go, Python, and/or Rust.
- Language Skills: German and English (C1 minimum).
Logistics
- Location: Fully remote within Germany.
- Travel: Very little travel required.
