Full Time Financial Controller

About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Controller to lead our finance transformation — perfect for someone who loves systems, automation, and building clean accounting processes from the ground up.
Compensation: $15-$18 per hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Lead QuickBooks Enterprise migration (multi-entity)
- Redesign Chart of Accounts + streamline intercompany workflows
- Set up automated accounting processes
- Own financial reporting (GAAP/IFRS), consolidations & cash flow
- Prepare for first formal audit – 2025 books / Q1 2026
- Partner with leadership + guide junior accounting staff/freelancers
Requirements
- 6+ years of accounting + Controller or senior-level experience
- Experience with system migrations / process automation
- Knowledge of multi-entity accounting & consolidations
- Ability to build processes, not just follow them
- Comfortable working remotely (PST/EST alignment)
Stack & Scope
- Moving from Citrix/QB Desktop → QuickBooks Enterprise
- Building scalable financial infrastructure
- High impact, lots of ownership, zero legacy red tape
