About the Role
We are looking for Optimization Specialists to design scalable models and pipelines that solve real-world scheduling, routing, and allocation challenges. This role is ideal for candidates with strong backgrounds in operations research, applied mathematics, or computer science who want to apply optimization at scale.
What You'll Do
- Build optimization pipelines for scheduling, routing, and resource allocation
- Develop formulations with MILP, CP, and heuristics to meet real-world needs
- Benchmark and validate models using large datasets
- Create heuristics and approximation methods for time-sensitive workloads
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate optimization into production systems
- Document workflows for reproducibility and reliability
Requirements
- Degree in operations research, applied mathematics, computer science, or engineering
- Proficiency in Python and optimization libraries (CVXPY, OR-Tools, CPLEX, SciPy, NumPy, pandas)
- Strong knowledge of MILP, CP, and heuristic methods
- Experience with large-scale scheduling, routing, or allocation problems
- Ability to balance optimality, scalability, and practical performance
Pay & Details
- Compensation: $10.5/hr (weekly pay)
- Weekly Bonus: $500–$1000 per 5 completed tasks
- Schedule: Part-time (20–30 hrs/week) with a flexible schedule
- Location: Remote (India)
