About the Role

We are a FinOps/cloud optimization company assisting a client—a solid healthcare data company—in their search for a Senior Data Engineer.

Compensation

Rate: 80–90 USD per hour (potential to go higher for exceptional candidates).

Legal Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must reside in the USA and meet one of the following criteria:

US Citizen
Green Card holder
Sole owner of your own LLC (must be the sole owner, not a co-owner)

Note: We cannot support H1B, OPT, EAD, or CPT visas.

Technical Requirements

We are looking for candidates with 7+ years of experience, including at least 5 years building production-grade data or platform services. Proficiency in the following stack is required:

Cloud: AWS (Strong preference; Azure/GCP experience is not sufficient for this role)
Languages: Python, SQL
Data Modeling/Transformation: dbt
Data Warehousing: Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
Processing/Streaming: Spark, Kafka
Table Formats: Iceberg, Delta, or Hudi
Orchestration: Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect
DevOps/Infrastructure: CI/CD, Docker
