About the Role
I’m looking for a reliable freelance graphic designer to help create ongoing social media graphics for my content production business, Tyler’s FOV. This is a fully remote, contract-based opportunity with the potential for consistent monthly work.
This is primarily a design execution role, not a content strategy position. I’ll provide the creative concepts, key messaging, branding, images, and design references. Your responsibility is to turn those materials into polished, professional graphics that match an established visual style.
Pay & Workload
- Flat rate: $15 per completed graphic
- Initial workload: Approximately 18 graphics per month
- Expected range: 10–25 graphics per month, depending on client needs
- Turnaround: Standard turnaround is 3–7 days, depending on the assignment
- Nature of work: Graphics will generally be straightforward and will not require complex illustrations or extensive original design work.
- Contract terms: This is freelance contract work. There are no benefits or guaranteed minimum number of assignments.
What You’ll Be Designing
You will be creating static social media graphics for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. These are cross-platform posts, meaning one design will generally be used across all three platforms.
What I’ll Provide:
- Previous designs for reference, creative concepts, topics, and general direction
- Key messaging, technical information, and necessary terminology
- Suggested headlines and talking points when applicable
- All photographs, logos, branding, and necessary assets
- Existing graphics and design references to establish the required style
- Project instructions and specifications
- Communication, project management, and file-sharing platforms
Your Responsibilities:
- Turning supplied concepts and information into finished social media graphics
- Creating professional layouts that match established branding and previous designs
- Selecting and arranging supplied photographs and design elements
- Maintaining consistent typography, spacing, alignment, and overall visual quality
- Making minor adjustments to wording for layout and readability when necessary (subject to approval)
- Exporting completed graphics in the requested dimensions and formats
- Providing fully editable project files
- Completing reasonable revisions when necessary
Note: You will not be responsible for developing content strategies, researching topics, generating images, writing extensive copy, or managing social media accounts.
Strict No-AI Policy — Zero Exceptions
All graphics must be manually designed. The use of generative AI in any part of the design process is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
- AI-generated graphics, layouts, backgrounds, or illustrations
- AI-generated or AI-modified photographs
- AI-generated design elements, icons, or other visual assets
- AI-generated text or copy
- Canva’s generative AI features (Magic Design, Magic Media, Magic Edit, etc.)
- Third-party generative AI tools
Any confirmed violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of the contract. Applicants must explicitly acknowledge and agree to this policy when applying.
Requirements
- Fluent English communication (written and spoken)
- Ability to closely replicate existing graphic designs and branding
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, spacing, and visual consistency
- Excellent attention to detail
- Consistent communication and ability to meet deadlines
- Your own computer, design software, and necessary equipment
- Ability to follow written instructions and deliver consistent work with minimal revisions
- Willingness to complete one reasonable round of revisions when necessary
- Preferred: U.S.-based designers (though all locations are welcome)
- Preferred: Experience with Canva and sufficient local storage to retain project files
